Fares and Tickets

Wardle Transport offer a range of single, return and multi-journey tickets.

Single ticket

A one-way journey ticket. The cost depends where you get on and where you want to get off the bus. Simply buy from the driver as you get on the bus.

Return tickets

These tickets give you two trips - one to go and one to come back again between the same locations. Please keep your ticket safe to show the driver on your return trip. Prices depend on where you get on and where you're going. Buy return tickets on the bus from the driver.

Multi-journey tickets

Multi-journey tickets allow unlimited travel on Wardle Transport services within the Stoke-on-Trent Network area for a specified time. Please see the Stoke on Trent area network map for area of validity.

Student Saver tickets

Special rate Student Saver tickets just for those in full time educationare available, offering discounts for term or academic year savers.

Concessionary travel

National concessionary travel schemes exist in England, Scotland and Wales for people over 60. Variation to each local scheme may apply.

North Staffordshire 'Smart ticket'

A multi-operator ticket is available, valid for travel on Wardle Transport and other bus operators’ services within the North Staffordshire Smart network area (pdf 77kb).
Daily and weekly Smart tickets are available to purchase on the bus from your driver or local Payzone outlets within the network area. Visit the stoke.gov.uk website for further details.

 

Note:

Children 5 to 15 years
Discounted fares are available for children 5 to 15 years on most Wardle Transport services.


Children under 5 travel free
Children under 5 years of age travel free. They must be accompanied by a fare paying customer.


It helps the driver if you are able to offer the right change for your fare.
